Welcome to our website.
Our names are Jon & Donna. We originated from just outside west London, not far from Heathrow Airport. Tired of the busy, noisy life we had, we decided to sell up in search of a more peaceful one, so here we are in Northants.
The catalyst for the big move was back in May 2000, when we bought our first Basset Hound. Her name is Lily and she changed our lives. We became involved in showing her, which has made us some wonderful friends on the way. We are now very settled with our hounds in our new home.
Just 5 minutes away are some wonderful countryside walks, which the dogs love. However our dream is to move again to something a little more rural, somewhere with more space for us all.
In 2008 we hope to continue showing Dylan and Florence from our last litter. Dylan had a promising start to his show career in 2007, winning a number of MPD & PD classes at Breed shows as well as Champ shows. Florence has also done well although can be a little unsettled at times in the ring but as she has matured she is becoming more focused.
As far as our breeding plans go for 2008 we are still undecided if we will have a litter, it will all depend on timing really, we certainly haven't ruled it out completely. If we do decide to have a litter we are hoping to mate Gertrude and Dylan. We will update the site if there is any further news regarding our plans.
We are always happy to speak to anyone wishing to get advice or just talk about Bassets in general, if we do not have a litter ourselves we usually know of a reputable breeder that may be planning a litter or have puppies so please feel free to contact us..

Apart from the dogs, our other love is music, and some of our favourite bands are German Heavy metal group Rammstein, Swedish Goth rockers Deathstars, Iron Maiden and Marilyn Manson. You can view some of our favourite video's of these groups on a separate section of our Network Page.
