HOUNDSBAY GERTRUDE - Gertie is our first home bred bitch, she is a real character and a total clown!! Her current best freinds are Dylan and her daughter Nelly and she really enjoys playing with them in the garden. One of her other favourite pastimes is ear chewing, her favourite ears to chew at the moment are Dylan and Nelly's.
We did show her, again only lightly, she is quite a big boned girl, so judges didn't seem so keen on her as she was a bit too masculine for most judges, so didn't do as well in the ring as we had hoped. But we love her anyway, Gertie had her first litter in March 2009, she gave us 11 beautiful puppies 7 boys and 4 girls.
