This page will keep you updated on the progress of the puppies from Edie's litter, which were born on 12th November 2006. Please read about Dru's first litter from June 2005, and he second litter from August 2006.
Our third litter born on 12/11/06 to our beautiful Edie and to Sire Ch. Dereheath Marcus Aurelius, gave us 10 beautiful babies and I have to say our nicest litter to date from a show point of view, stunning puppies.
....has gone to live with a lovely family who already have two bulldogs. Lula has settled in well and is being spoilt rotten. Her owners currently do not have PC at home but hope to in the near future, so we hope to receive some photo's of her soon.

....this adorable little man, who I was very sad to see go, was just a sweet little boy and so cuddly. I became very fond of him, he has gone to live in East London with a super couple who had a rescue basset before, he has apparently settled into their lifestyle extremely well. His name comes from the Sherlock Holmes novels, for those of you who aren't fans apparently Mycroft is Sherlock Holmes older brother!!!
15/04/2007 - Mycroft has turned into a handsome chap he enjoys his life in London. We loved this photo of him in his local park with Canary Wharf in the background. Apparently he is an absolute joy to own, a very calm sensible little chap.
05/08/2007 - Mycroft enjoyed his day out at the SBHC show, BBQ & fun day. Pictured here in his rather snazzy hunting jacket from Harrods' no less!! he was just about to go into the fancy dress class. He is apparently going to be having a holiday in California at the end of the year on the pet passport scheme for 3 weeks with his owners and staying in Beverly hill's with relatives....what a lucky boy!
....has gone to live not far from us, so another local pup. His family are just adorable and already have a basset called Stan and a Rottweiler called Jet. Dudley has made himself right at home and is firm friends with Stan already.
15/04/2007 - Dudley is so much like our Dylan, his owners are going to have a try at showing him. We are lucky as they do not live too far from us, so we met up with them and Dudley at our local ringcraft, we just had to get a group shot of our basset corner from left to right is Henry he belongs to our new basset friend Karam then there is Dudley, Dylan, Florence, Grace and Stan who also belongs to Dudley's owners, he was bred by our good friend Lucia (Tattulah), we wish his owners luck with showing him. We also received these really nice pictures of him.
14/07/2007 - 2 new photos of Dudley added.
26/12/2007 - 4 new photos of Dudley added.
29/04/2008 - 3 new photos of Dudley
....by pure coincidence Oscar has gone to live with Jon's nephew and his family. It was quite bizarre as we had not heard from him for a few years, but through one of Jon's other nephews who we are in touch with occasionally, put him onto us as they had been looking to get a basset hound puppy for some time and didn't realise we bred them. So not only did Oscar get a lovely home, but we also had a family reunion too! Oscar has really settled in well and is adored by all the family.
28/05/2007 - New photo of Oscar added .
16/06/2007 - 2 New photos of Oscar added.
....was another pup that went to live fairly local to us. He has gone to live with a couple who have two other bassets and a cocker spaniel as well, along with an assortment of other animals. Apparently from what we have heard, Darcy is now running the house hold, he is a right little terror!!!
20/02/2007 - We have recently received 3 photos of Darcy.
28/05/2007 - One new photo of darcy added.
....ended up staying with us as no suitable home materialised for her, so we felt it was fate that we kept Grace. Although sadly in January 2008 her and her sister Florence started fighting quite badly, so we had to re-home one of them, unfortunately it ended up being Grace simply because Florence is the better show bitch and Grace's show career had been a bit hit and miss.
She now lives with Jill and Tony who have Buford from our second litter, his companion Millie is 12 now so he needed a younger friend to play with. Buford and Grace adore each other and go everywhere together which is wonderful, they enjoy lovely long daily walks in Roundhay park, which is apparently the second largest park in Europe!! We are so pleased that things have worked out so well for Grace, we of course miss her terribly but she is so very happy in her new home and that's the most important thing.
27/03/2008 - Here's a short video of Grace at her new home.
30/03/2008 - 1 new photo of Grace added.
